Duke’s Restaurant, Bar and Show Lounge, located at 201 Broadway Jack London Square Oakland California, was inspired and respectfully named after the great musician/composer “Edward “Duke” Ellington.” At Duke's, you will find an array of talented musicians performing Blues/Jazz/Funk/Zydeco and Old School R&B, taking you on a retrospective trip to an era when high-status pastimes were eagerly sought and appreciated, as socializing promoted a sense of “people hood” and provided self-renewal. Duke’s captures the ambiance of that time with exciting detail to ensure all who enter through its doors a significant and memorable encounter.
